These types of connectors are increasingly common in several applications, especially where a connection to a small display (screen) or keyboard is needed. WR-FFC cables offer pre-folded products that can be adjusted for different lengths. These pre-folded cables are available in 0.50mm and 1mm pitch in three lengths: 120mm to 200mm, 165mm to 350mm, and 280mm and 500mm.

WR-FFC Flat Flexible Cables

Würth Elektronik WR-FFC 0.50mm Flat Flexible Cables (FFC) are designed to meet the high combination of requirements such as low-profile, lightweight, secure, and removable connections. As the demand for higher density in electronic equipment increases, the use of flexible flat cables to reduce size, weight, and assembly costs has grown. Würth WR-FFC cables are available in both Type 1 (contacts on the same side) and Type 2 (contacts opposite). They offer a rated contact of 1A and an operating temperature range of -30°C to +105°C.
