VEML High Accuracy Ambient Light Sensors

Vishay Semiconductors VEML High Accuracy Ambient Light Sensors feature an easy-to-use I2C interface and are housed in miniature transparent packages. These digital 16-bit resolution sensors include a high sensitivity photodiode, low-noise amplifier and a 16-bit A/D converter. The VEML have an operating voltage of 2.5-3.6V with an I2C BUS voltage range of 1.7-3.6V. These sensors include additional ambient light functions like an excellent temperature compensation and high dynamic detection resolution with software shutdown mode control.

VEML3328 & VEML3328SL RGBCIR Colour Sensors

Vishay VEML3328 and VEML3328SL RGBCIR Colour Sensors integrate photodiodes, amplifiers, and analogue/digital circuits into a single CMOS chip, enabling them to sense red, green, blue, clear, and IR light. The multi-spectrum sensing ability of the VEML3328 and VEML3328SL sensors makes these devices ideal for backlight adjustment applications, in both indoor and outdoor environments. The VEML3328 and VEML3328SL sensors feature a low 2.6V to 3.6V operation voltage, and a low-power-consumption I2C interface.
