VDRUS Varistors

Vishay / BC Components VDRUS Varistors feature a low-beta (β), high-purity ceramic disc with tin-plated wires coated with UL 94-V0 silicone lacquer, which provides mechanical, electrical, and climatic protection. These varistors are suitable for automatic pick-and-place mounting and hand-mounting. Wave soldering and pin-in-paste reflow soldering are implemented under defined process conditions to connect the parts. Vishay / BC Components VDRUS Varistors feature straight or kinked leads, ultra-high current surge/size ratio capability, and are certified for operation up to 125°C as per UL 1449 edition 4. These varistors are designed for overvoltage and transient voltage protection.
