Z-PACK HM-Zd Connector System

TE Connectivity's (TE) Z-PACK HM-Zd Connector System is a high-speed, differential connector system that is compatible with the Z-PACK 2mm HM connector line. Z-PACK HH-Zd components provide Z-PACK 2mm HM users with a migration path for serial switching applications from 3.125Gbps to 5.0Gpbs. The system features a highly reliable dual-beam contact system with fully encompassing grounds dedicated to each differential pair. In addition, the TE Z-PACK HM-Zd connector footprint is optimized for routability and system performance with the use of a 1.50mm x 2.50mm (0.059" x 0.098") row to column grid. The connector design features a robust mating interface with built-in pre-alignment and polarization features. Applications for TE Z-PACK HM-Zd Connector System include switches, servers/blade servers, routers, and storage.

Z-PACK HM-Zd Connectors

TE Connectivity Z-PACK HM-Zd Connector System is for high-speed differential applications. Z-PACK HM-Zd Connectors feature a highly reliable dual beam contact system with fully encompassing grounds dedicated to each differential pair. The footprint is optimized for both routability and system performance with a 1.5mm x 2.5mm row-to-column grid. The robust mating interface ensures correct polarization and alignment. Target applications for the TE Connectivity Z-PACK HM-Zd Connectors include telecommunication equipment such as hubs, routers and switches; data networking equipment such as servers and storage devices; test and measurement equipment; and medical diagnostic equipment.

Z-PACK HM-Zd Plus Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) Z-PACK HM-Zd Plus Connectors update the daughter connections to enhance performance, resulting in lower cross talk. This is achieved through the incorporation of added ground contacts on the outside pair of the receptacle connector system. This connector system performs at 15Gbp/s with a migration plan to 20Gbp/s. The daughter card connector remains compatible with existing Z-PACK HM-Zd backplane connectors. TE Z-PACK HM-Zd Plus Connectors are well-suited for advanced TCA next-generation applications and specified for advanced TCA zone 2 requirements.
