Signal Inductors

TDK Signal Inductors are manufactured using state-of-the-art multilayer processing and wire-winding technologies. Its wire-winding technology uses a highly-effective closed magnetic circuit with ferrite particles of high permeability, to enable lower Rdc values and reduced energy consumption. TDK Signal Inductors are designed for use in a wide variety of applications, ranging from mobile devices and consumer electronics to various types of automotive equipment and systems.

PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications & Solutions

TDK PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications and Solutions feature TDK's expanded line of ALT series SMD pulse transformers to be used in combination with ACM and MCZ series common-mode filters. These are used in various PoE applications that are compatible with 1G/2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T, 10/100/1000BASE-T, and PoE+ (600mA) standards. PoE is a technology that allows electrical power and data transmission to be carried simultaneously through a single cable versus through a separate power cord and network cable. PoE reduces the number of cables and wires necessary for installation and allows for design flexibility, as device placement no longer relies on the availability of an electrical outlet. PoE is capable of supporting higher transmission speeds while still providing outstanding reliability and meeting compact design targets. TDK PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications and Solutions allow for greater scalability as the number of connected devices and LAN interfaces on each device continues to grow and more electronic components are used in servers and routers, as well as in other network and communication devices. 

MLJ1608 Multilayer Ferrite Power Inductors

TDK MLJ1608 Multilayer Ferrite Power Inductors feature a high Q up to 30 at 13.56MHz and a narrow inductance tolerance of ±5%. The TDK MLJ1608 offers excellent magnetic shielding characteristics and is designed for near-field communication (NFC) and power line applications in smartphones, tablets, and NFC modules. The series features inductance values from 160nH to 560nH and high-rated currents ranging from 550mA to 750mA. The current range ensures operational stability even when handling the AC signal currents in the range of 100mA to 300mA that are encountered when the communication circuit is active. The MLJ1608 series has a 1.6mm x 0.8mm footprint and a low-profile insertion height of 0.8mm.
