CA Series Automotive Inline MEGACAP MLCCs

TDK CA Series Automotive Inline MEGACAP Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are qualified based on the AEC-Q200 automotive standard and designed to handle high currents and offer large capacitance. The high capacitance is achieved by using multiple MLCCs to help reduce the number of components and miniaturize devices.  These capacitors also optimise metal frame materials to offer low resistance. The CA automotive MLCC lineup includes 99nF/1000V with Class 1 and 47μF/100V with Class 2 dielectric. TDK CA Series Automotive Inline MEGACAP MLCCs are designed for the smoothing and decoupling of power lines and snubber circuits in inverters. These capacitors are also ideal for resonant circuits in subsystems such as onboard chargers (OBCs) and wireless power transfer (WPT) systems in hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and battery EVs (BEVs).

CA Series Inline MEGACAP MLCCs

TDK CA Series Inline MEGACAP Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (MLCCs) are low-resistance modules that exhibit high capacitance through an inline structure. These capacitors provide higher mechanical endurance than conventional MLCCs and offer low height and low electrical resistance. The CA series features hybrid joints between the metal frames. They use mechanical soldering and clamping processes to prevent them from falling out, even in high-temperature reflow soldering. TDK CA Inline MEGACAP MLCCs are applicable for resonant circuits in wireless power transfer applications. The series is offered in double-type and triple-type shapes with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The lineup includes AEC-Q200 capacitors.

TDK Specialty Ceramic/Disc/MLCC Leaded Cap’s
