AMT Absolute Capacitive Modular Encoders

Same Sky AMT High Accuracy Absolute Modular Encoders output 12-bits or 14-bits of absolute position information with SPI, SSI, or RS-485 communication as well as single-turn or multi-turn output options. These rugged modules offer an innovative capacitive platform and resist contaminants such as dirt, dust, and oil. The encoder design simplifies the assembly process, reducing mounting and alignment time with the One Touch Zero™ feature. The series provides high accuracy, a compact package with locking hubs for ease of installation, radial and axial cable connections, and low current draw. Same Sky AMT absolute encoders are ideal for industrial, automation, robotics, and renewable energy applications. Configuration and firmware updates can be made via the AMT Viewpoint™ software.

Same Sky AMT Encoders are highly accurate, rugged modular encoders in incremental, absolute, and commutation versions suitable for use in challenging environments. An innovative design makes the AMT Series resistant to dirt, dust, and oil. AMT20 Absolute Capacitive Modular Encoders

Same Sky AMT20 High Accuracy Absolute Modular Encoders output 12 bits of absolute position information with serial peripheral interface (SPI) communication. These rugged AMT20 modules feature an innovative capacitive platform and resist contaminants such as dirt, dust, and oil. The encoder design simplifies the assembly process, reducing mounting and alignment time with the One Touch Zero™ feature. Zero position is set through the SPI interface rather than through mechanical positioning. Additional features include an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, high accuracy, a compact package, and low current draw. Applications for Same Sky AMT20 High Accuracy Absolute Modular Encoders include industrial, automation, robotics, and renewable energy applications.
