RA8T2 Motor Control Microcontrollers

Renesas Electronics RA8T2 Motor Control Microcontrollers (MCUs) are high-end MCUs for motor control and are primarily intended for industrial applications where high-control precision is required. In addition to motor control, the Renesas RA8T2 can also provide synchronous communication and system control using Ethernet or EtherCAT, all on a single chip. Developed using a cutting-edge 22nm process technology, these MCUs achieve high-speed operation of the Arm® Cortex®-M85 core and integration of large-capacity memory. In addition, the dual-core option (with the Arm Cortex-M33 core) significantly improves parallel operation performance. In motor control use cases, the main core performs real-time control, and the other core performs system control and high-speed communication.
