R-78W-0.5 Wired Single Output DC/DC Converters

RECOM Power R-78W-0.5 Single Output DC/DC Converters are wired 0.5A switching regulators ideally suited to offer a stable voltage supply without the need for a PCB. High efficiencies of up to 96% mean there is no need for a heat sink. The compact modules feature fully protected outputs and draw only 1mA under no-load conditions. These converters are ideal for use in applications such as high-power LED lighting, battery-powered systems, cooling systems, or fans.

R-78 Innoline Non-Isolated DC/DC Converters

RECOM Power Innoline R-78 DC/DC Non-Isolated Converters offer efficiency up to 97%, eliminating the need for heatsinks. These high-efficiency regulators are highly suited to replace the LM78 linear regulators and are pin-out compatible with LM78XX linears. The high efficiency of RECOM's Innoline R-78DC/DC single output converters means no heat sinks to take up space and incur additional mounting costs for users. Features of R-78's include very low profiles, low ripple and noise, and short circuit, overload, and overtemperature protection. The R-78 components are fully certified to EN 60601-1-2 (Medical Equipment), EN 55022 (Emissions), and EN55024 (Immunity), EMC standards, and for EN-60950-1 safety.
