PEM Automotive Electronics (AE) feature design-engineered products and solutions for critical applications. As electronics-based systems in vehicles become more complex, high performance and reliability are key. PEM fasteners are lightweight and feature a reduced footprint, less assembly time, and safety-critical reliability. They are manufactured in PEM's Clean Lab, which uses sophisticated cleaning and testing processes to meet ISO 16232 and VDA 19 standards. PEM Automotive Electronics products include fasteners, self-clinching nuts, studs and pins, standoffs, captive panel screws, compression limiters, and cable-tie mounts and hooks. These PEM components are ideal for a range of applications, including infotainment, navigation, communication, driver assistance, safety and security, wireless connectivity, electric powertrains, and airbags.

KFB3™ Broach/Flare-Mount Standoffs

PEM KFB3™ Broach/Flare-Mount Standoffs are designed to hold a fixed gap between two panels through a static attachment. These standoffs offer greater pullout performance in PC board materials. The KFB3 standoffs are designed for unplated mounting hole applications. These standoffs feature brass or CDA-353 brass fastener material. The KFB3 standoffs are used in aerospace, defense, telecom, datacom, and automotive electronics applications.
