These NorComp backshells are available in die-cast, metalized plastic, and plastic shell options depending on the application and level of signal protection against shock and vibration.

MICRO-D Micro-Miniature Connector Technology

NorComp MICRO-D Micro-Miniature D-Sub Connectors are ideal for commercial applications where space is at a premium but a robust I/O connector solution is still required. The MICRO-D connector features a metal-to-metal interface for a robust mechanical connection allowing for maximum shield effectiveness with a footprint that is less than 1/3 the size of a standard D-Sub connector. Offering a 1A contact rating, the NorComp MICRO-D connectors are available in three industry-standard sizes: 9, 15, 25 positions and a variety of termination types, including cable mount, vertical board mount, and right angle board mount. MICRO-D Micro-Miniature D-Sub Connectors are well-suited for military (COTS), medical, industrial, and handheld computers, and remote monitoring systems.
