PESD2CANFD2x-Qx CAN-FD ESD Protection Diodes

Nexperia PESD2CANFDx-Qx CAN-FD ESD Protection Diodes are leadless, AEC-Q101-qualified, 0.48mm high packages that offer side-wettable flanks for automated optical inspection during production. The QC components are housed in a 1.4mm x 1.2mm DFN1412D-3 (SOT8009) package, while the QB devices come in a 1.1mm x 1mm DFN1110D-3 (SOT8015) size. The packages feature an enlarged internal lead frame for heat dissipation and include a heatsink and a thermal pad. The PESD2CANFDx-Qx series offers a 33V clamping voltage at 1A, low 0.7Ω dynamic resistance, and good RF switching parameters, featuring a mixed-mode insertion loss of +20dB at 300MHz for excellent signal integrity. The devices fulfill CAN-FD specification requirements and exceed the requirements of AEC-Q101. Nexperia PESD2CANFDx-Qx CAN-FD ESD Protection Diodes are ideal for protecting CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, and SENT interfaces in automotive environments.

SOT8009 Surface-Mounted Package Products

Nexperia SOT8009 Surface-Mounted Package Products offer a plastic, leadless ultra small outline package with side-wettable flanks (SWF). The SOT8009 package features three terminals, a 0.8mm pitch with a 1.4mm x 1.2mm x 0.48mm body. The SOT8009 products use a DFN1412D-3 descriptive code and a USON (ultra thin small outline; no leads) package style. The Nexperia SOT8009 Surface-Mounted Package Products support a 2mm x 1.7mm footprint and a 3.4mm2 footprint area.

PESDxIVN In-Vehicle Networking ESD Protection

Nexperia PESDxIVN In-Vehicle Networking (IVN) ESD Protection Devices safeguard automotive IVN bus lines from the damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transients. The series is AEC-Q101 qualified and designed using the latest generation automotive protection technology to meet the increasingly complex requirements of networking solutions in automotive environments. The PESDxIVN devices provide ESD protection up to 30kV and handle high surge currents up to 3.5A (8/20µs). Additional features include a reverse standoff voltage of 24V or 27V, a low-clamping voltage of 33V at 3.5A IPP or 36V at 3A IPP, and an ultra-low-voltage current of <1nA. Nexperia PESDxIVN IVN ESD Protection Devices are ideal for CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and SENT automotive applications.
