NXP Semiconductors Kinetis L Series Arm Cortex-M0+ Microcontrollers are an entry-level 32-bit MCU family built on the Arm Cortex-M0+ core. The Kinetis L Series combines exceptional energy efficiency and ease-of-use with the performance, peripheral sets, enablement and scalability of the Kinetis 32-bit MCU portfolio, while leveraging the inherent low-power and high-performance features of the Arm Cortex architecture. Manufactured using NXP's low-leakage, 90nm thin film storage (TFS) process technology, the Kinetis L series frees power-critical designs from 8- and 16-bit MCU limitations by combining excellent dynamic and stop currents with superior processing performance. A broad selection of on-chip flash memory densities and extensive analog, connectivity and HMI peripheral options enable increased energy efficiency and intelligence for a range of applications, including battery-operated devices, medical systems, smart meters and motor control systems.

NXP Semiconductors Kinetis 32-Bit Arm® Cortex®-M Microcontrollers consists of multiple hardware- and software-compatible ARM Cortex-M0+ and ARM Cortex-M4 MCU families with exceptional low-power performance, memory scalability, and feature integration. Families range from the entry-level ARM Cortex-M0+ Kinetis L Series to the high-performance, feature-rich ARM Cortex-M4 Kinetis K and include a wide selection of analog, communication, HMI, connectivity and security features. Kinetis KL8x Ultra-Low Power MCUs

NXP Semiconductors Kinetis KL8x Ultra-Low Power Microcontrollers offer enhanced security to support point-of-sale (POS) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The Kinetis KL8x MCUs feature a 72MHz Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core with 128KB flash memory and 96KB SRAM. An integrated QuadSPI interface supports connections to non-volatile memory (serial NOR). The microcontrollers consume as little as 125µA/MHz in run mode. In sleep mode, the devices operate down to 272nA with RAM and RTC retained. Enhanced security features include true random number generator, tamper detection, and low-power trusted crypto engine supporting 3DES, AES, DES, SHA, RSA, and ECC.
