DLW Common Mode Choke Coils

Murata Electronics DLW Common Mode Choke Coils offer high impedance in the high-frequency band for more effective noise suppression. These choke coils are designed to be low-profile winding type. The DLW series utilizes characteristic impedance matching to enable a sound transmission of high-speed signals. The choke coils are available in general purpose and AEC-Q200 automotive grade. The components offer a wound, low-profile construction in multiple case sizes, and ultra-high self-resonance frequency. Murata DLW Common Mode Choke Coils are ideal for suppressing power line noise on powertrain and safety system Electronic Control Units (ECUs).

Automotive Products

Murata Electronics supports the automotive market by supplying precise sensing technologies and high-reliability electronic components that are essential to the smooth operation of a vehicle. The evolution of automotive technology has been facilitated by electronic components that monitor the vehicle inside and out and exchange information among the components. Whether an engineer seeks timing devices, circuit protection, noise suppression, or inductors and capacitors, Murata provides a wide selection of automotive-grade and AEC-Q200-qualified products.  Murata's technology and know-how help contribute to developing a "ubiquitous network society," preserving the global environment and creating a future with safer and more comfortable automobiles.

EMI Noise Suppression

Noise suppression has become an important issue, especially regarding electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Murata provides engineers with complete support, including products and design-simulation software solutions based on expertise achieved through extensive on-site experience. This enables Murata to provide noise suppression solutions for a broad array of applications.

Auto LANs Suppression of Noise in CANs Using CMCCs

The integration of electronic products into vehicles continues to grow at a fast pace. This trend includes the expansion and improvement of additional functions such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). For the electrification of vehicles, automotive LANs that relay information between the various electronic devices inside the car play an essential role. Automotive LANs must not only offer high speeds in order to handle large volumes of information but also must offer high reliability, which is required for communication quality. Many interfaces tailored to these automotive devices are currently being used. It is in this context that Controller Area Networks (CANs) are becoming widely used as automotive LANs. Murata studies the electromagnetic noise issues in CANs and noise suppression components that offer a solution.

Noise Suppression in Onboard Ethernet 100Base-T1

Onboard Ethernet includes communication systems used in automobiles. A variety of interface standards can be used, depending on the application. Some examples of communication systems are CAN/LIN, FlexRay, MOST, and Ethernet. Onboard Ethernet standards include 100Base-T1 with one pair and 100Base-TX with two pairs. But unwanted noise can become an issue, so Murata researched ways to suppress noise in onboard Ethernet 100Base-T1 applications.

WE-CMB Common Mode Power Line Inductors (Chokes)

Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode Power Line Inductors (Chokes) feature a compact design that delivers high suppression of asymmetric interferences, even at low-frequency ranges. In addition, these inductors provide broadband screening due to a low capacitance winding technique. Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode, Power Line Inductors, are ideal for power electronics and suppressing common-mode noises. Parasitics can have a significant effect on the noise attenuation and current rating of a common mode filter. Würth designed the WE-CMB series for minimal parasitic effects over its useful frequency bandwidth so it does what it is designed to do - get rid of the noise.

Automotive Noise / EMI Suppression Filters

Murata Electronics Automotive Noise / EMI Suppression Filters offer components for noise suppression from various approaches, such as small-sized EMI suppression filters and AC line filters that effectively suppress noise. Also among these components are ferrite cores and microwave absorbers, which suppress noise even after the set is completed. Murata offers ESD protection devices that protect semiconductors from static electricity entering from outside.
