LJxx06/QJxx06 High Temperature 6A Triacs

Littelfuse LJxx06/QJxx06 High-Temperature 6A Triacs are available in sensitive, standard, and alternistor (high-commutation) types designed for AC switching and phase control applications. These components are offered in internally constructed isolated packages that offer easy heat sinking with the highest isolation voltage. The sensitive type triacs guarantee gate control in quadrants I and IV needed for digital circuitry. The alternistor type triacs operate only in quadrants I, II, and III. These triacs are used in circuits that require high dv/dt capability. The standard type devices normally operate in quadrants I & III triggered from the AC line. Littelfuse LJxx06/QJxx06 High-Temperature 6A Triacs incorporate solid-state switching that eliminates arcing or contact bounce that creates voltage transients. These components require only a small gate activation pulse in each half-cycle. Typical applications include AC switching and phase control, AC solid-state switches, light dimmers, power tools, home/brown goods appliances, and white goods appliances.

Q Series Switching Thyristors

Littelfuse Q Series Switching Thyristors are bidirectional, solid-state protection devices designed to handle loads from 0.8A to 40ARMS with 10mA, 25mA, and 50mA IGT in operating Quadrants I, II, III, and IV. Littelfuse developed the Q Series Switching Thyristors for a wide range of AC applications to control AC power either through full-cycle switching or phase control of current to the load element. Q Series devices are rated to block voltage in the OFF condition from 200V minimum with selected products capable of 1000V operation. Internally-constructed, isolated packages are available for ease of heat sinking with highest isolation voltage.
