Reed Sensors

Littelfuse Reed Sensors can switch AC or DC loads, making them popular for digital on/off applications. Reed sensors are reed switches that are packaged within an external housing for simplified mounting/connecting and additional protection against environmental influences. Littelfuse Reed Sensors are typically mounted in mechanical systems.

59010 Sub-Miniature Firecracker Sensors

Littelfuse 59010 Sub-Miniature Firecracker Sensors are sub-miniature cylindrical reed sensors with a 3mm diameter and 9mm length and normally open contact. These magnetically operated proximity sensors are capable of switching up to 170VDC at 10W. Their compact size requires only a 3mm diameter hole. They offer hermetically sealed contacts and easy installation. Littelfuse 59010 Sub-Miniature Firecracker Sensors are ideal for battery-powered applications because the contacts do not draw power in a nonactivated state. Typical applications include position and limit sensing, security system switches, level sensing, and linear actuators. The 57022 actuator is sold separately.

Firecracker Sensors

Littelfuse Firecracker Sensors feature a slim cylindrical package that is suitable for mounting on a frame. These reed sensors offer engineers a choice of normally open, normally closed, or change-over contacts configurations. Littelfuse Firecracker Sensors are ideal for position and limit sensing, security, level sensing, and linear actuator applications. Each sensor has a corresponding actuator (sold separately).
