55505 Hall Effect Flange Mount Geartooth Sensor

Littelfuse 55505 Hall Effect Flange Mount Geartooth Sensor is a robust device with protection against severe and automotive environments. The sensor is available as a 3-wire (voltage output) version and features a brass mounting bush. Littelfuse 55505 Hall Effect Sensor is ideally suited to wheel, transmission and camshaft speed sensing, geartooth sensor, rotary encoders, industrial, commercial, and automotive applications.

Sensors Portfolio

Littelfuse is a global leader in magnetic sensing solutions with a portfolio covering reed switches, reed sensors, hall effect sensors, reed relays, and magnetic actuators. Littelfuse also offers a broad range of thermistors, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), digital temperature indicators, and probes and assemblies for temperature sensing applications.

Hall Effect Sensors

Littelfuse Hall Effect Sensors are semiconductor-based integrated circuits with Hall plates that respond to magnetic fields. Hall Effect devices provide digital or analog output signals that are used for proximity and continuous rotary or linear positioning. Hall Effect Sensors feature active circuitry, so they always draw a small amount of current. Digital Hall Effect Sensors are ideal for high-speed sensing applications such as washing machines. Analog Hall Effect Sensors are used to detect dial positions in appliances such as dishwashers.
