Automotive Application Solutions

In-Vehicle Communication Solutions

Littelfuse provides a wide portfolio of fuses, diode arrays, and suppressors suitable for in-vehicle communication applications. The automotive environments are divided into domain architecture and zonal architecture. The domain architecture controls and divides by function, and computation can be performed locally. Zonal architecture environments require a software-based approach, and a central computer is linked to sensors and devices through zonal gateways.

437A Surface Mount Fuses

Littelfuse 437A Surface Mount Fuses offer a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and are AECQ-compliant. The 437A series is tested to cater to the secondary circuit protection needs of compact auto-electronics applications. The general design of these fuses ensures excellent temperature stability and performance reliability. Additionally, the high I2t values typical of the Littelfuse 437A fuses ensure high inrush current withstand capability. Littelfuse 437A Surface Mount Fuses are suitable for TFT displays, battery management systems, clusters, LED lighting, and automotive navigation systems.

Automotive AEC-Q200 Qualified Standard Fuses

Littelfuse Automotive AEC-Q200 Qualified Standard Fuses meet AEC-Q200 requirements and set the standard for automotive fuses. These fuses have expanded the scope of AEC-Q200, Stress Test Qualification for Passive Electrical Devices. The AEC-Q200 qualified standard fuses have contributed to the development of revision E and the framework for defining the test requirements for fuses. The standard fuses have a wide variety of AEC-Q200 qualified fuses, including surface mount, cartridge, and inline fuses, which the designer can select from to develop reliable products for the automotive industry. The AEC-Q200 fuses are used for overcurrent protection in several applications such as sense line protection, battery management, onboard charger, connectivity, and ADAS.

Remote Keyless Entry Solutions

Littelfuse Remote Keyless Entry Solutions defend the powered circuits and communication lines of modern vehicles that receive signals from a remote key-fob. These signals control features like remote starting, door unlocking, truck opening, and other custom commands. Littelfuse offers a range of fuses, TVS diodes, diode arrays, MOVs, MLVs, and ESD suppressors that protect the on-board circuitry from such threats.

AEC-Q200 Qualified Surface-Mount Fuses

Littelfuse AEC-Q200 Qualified Surface-Mount Fuses are automotive-grade fuses designed to operate under high working ambient temperatures up to +150°C. These automotive fuses are available in several options (fast-acting, high I2t, and high voltage). Littelfuse 437A, 438A, and 440A fast-acting fuses ensure excellent temperature stability and performance reliability. The 440A fuses feature current ratings from 0.5A to 8A and 63V to 32V maximum voltage rating. The 437A fuses offer 500mA to 4A current ratings and 63V to 32V maximum voltage rating. With a current rating range of 0.25A to 6A, the 438A series has a maximum voltage rating range of 24V to 63VDC. Littelfuse 885 NANO2 series has a 1A to 5A current rating range with a maximum voltage of 450V or 500V.

ECU Solutions

Littelfuse ECU Solutions offer a range of protection for the many circuits found in the Electronic Control Units (ECU) of modern automobiles. These ECUs control functions like GPS connectivity, transmission and engine control, and door lock.
