Syfer FlexiCap SMD MLCC Capacitors

Syfer / Knowles FlexiCap™ SMD MLCC Capacitors were developed with a proprietary flexible termination material to accommodate a greater degree of board bending than conventional capacitors. It provides increased reliability and superior mechanical performance, as well as an increased tolerance to temperature cycling of -55ºC to 125ºC in excess of 1,000 times without cracking. The Syfer / Knowles FlexiCap termination has won the Queen’s Award for Innovation in England and recently qualified for space applications. There should be no requirement to change the assembly process when converting to the FlexiCap™ SMD MLCC Capacitors. Syfer / Knowles has introduced new High Voltage models!

FlexiCap™ High-Voltage SMD MLCCs

Syfer / Knowles FlexiCap™ SMD High-Voltage MLCCs feature proprietary flexible epoxy polymer termination material. This product is applied to the device under the usual nickel barrier finish. FlexiCap offers a greater degree of board bending than conventional capacitors. Syfer / Knowles FlexiCap capacitors are ideal for applications that include power supplies, DC-DC converters, telecoms, military, and aerospace.
