AVX 9159 Series Vertical SMT Plugs feature a small footprint that is ideal for applications where multiple printed circuit boards need to be plugged together. Designed primarily for the Solid State Lighting (SSL) market, the 9159 Series Vertical SMT Plugs can be mounted on one side of the PCB to allow LEDs to be placed on the other side which maintains consistent spacing. These connectors carry up to 3 Amps/contact and function up to 125⁰C for extended periods of time. The 9159 Series is tested per IEC specifications to assure it can withstand the industrial levels of shock, vibration and temperature cycling. The 9159 Series Vertical SMT Plugs are ideal for use in LED lighting strips for sports arena signs, display cases, lighted cabinets, fluorescent tube replacement and architectural lights used for building feature enhancement or internal feature lighting.
