Group Power Conversion Components

YAGEO Group (YAGEO, Pulse, KEMET) designs passive component technologies that are critical in power conversion systems, including safety, snubber, and DC link capacitors; current sense and power resistors; and magnetic components such as transformers, common mode chokes, and inductors. Because every electronic device requires power, a vast majority of these products utilize a form of power conversion or power supply to deliver the required energy. 

AEC-Q200 Qualified Film Capacitors

KEMET AEC-Q200 Qualified Film Capacitors feature capacitance values ranging from 10pF to 210µF with 2% to 20% tolerances. These automotive-qualified capacitors offer a low ESR (1.4mΩ to 1kΩ ESR range), resulting in a high ripple current rating without sacrificing capacitance. The components also exhibit high 30VAC to 700VAC / 50VDC to 2kVDC voltage ratings.

Low Power Film Capacitors

KEMET Low Power Film Capacitors feature a 50VDC to 1000VDC voltage range, radial and surface-mount construction, and a +125°C maximum temperature. These film capacitors are ideal for low-power, general applications. KEMET Low Power Film Capacitors include the following series: A50, F161, GMC, GPC, LDB, LDE, PME261, R60, R66, R82, RSB, SMC, SMR, SPC, and SMP253.

RSB Film Capacitors

KEMET RSB Film Capacitors feature a 50VDC to 630VDC voltage range, 0.001 to 4.7µF capacitance range, and ±20%, ±10% (standard), and ±5% capacitance tolerance. These wound or stacked metallized polyester film capacitors have 5mm lead spacing and radial leads of tinned wire. The radial leads are electrically welded to the contact metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. RSB capacitors are encapsulated with thermosetting resin inside a UL 94V-0 case. Automotive-grade devices that meet AEC-Q200 qualifications are available. Applications for KEMET RSB Film Capacitors are high-performance, high-temperature blocking, coupling, decoupling for a signal from DC to high frequency, pulse, logic, and timing circuits. Additional uses include lamp capacitors for electronic compact lamps, inverters for LCD monitors, and automotive DC motor suppression. This series is not suitable for across-the-line applications.
