Electromagnetic Interference Suppression Capacitor

KEMET's Electromagnetic Interference Suppression Capacitors meet EN/IEC 60384-17:2005 standards and are subdivided into two groups, X and Y. X Capacitors are for use in positions where a failure of the capacitor would not expose anybody to the danger of electric shock. Y Capacitors are for use in positions where a failure of the capacitor could expose somebody to a dangerous electric shock.

EMI/RFI Suppression Capacitors

KEMET EMI/RFI Suppression Capacitors offer a maximum voltage rating of 760VAC and are ideal for capacitive power supplies. The KEMET portfolio of EMI/RFI suppression capacitors includes the following series: F861, F862, F871, F872, F873, F881, P278, P295, PHE844, PHE845, PHZ9004, PME264, PME271E, PME271M, PME271Y, PME295, PZB300, R41, R41-T, R46, R47, R49, and SMP253.

PHE850 Suppression Film Capacitors

KEMET PHE850 Series Suppression Film Capacitors are Class Y2 EMI suppressors with metallized polypropylene. The PHE850 Series Suppression Film Capacitors from KEMET include new small dimensions that include low-profile capacitors. KEMET PHE850 Series Suppression Film Capacitors are intended for use as interference suppressors in Y2 (line-to-earth) applications.
