Electromagnetic Interference Suppression Capacitor

KEMET's Electromagnetic Interference Suppression Capacitors meet EN/IEC 60384-17:2005 standards and are subdivided into two groups, X and Y. X Capacitors are for use in positions where a failure of the capacitor would not expose anybody to the danger of electric shock. Y Capacitors are for use in positions where a failure of the capacitor could expose somebody to a dangerous electric shock.

PHE840E, PHE840M Suppression Film Capacitors

KEMET PHE840E and PHE840M Suppression Film Capacitors are Class X2 EMI suppressors that offer small dimensions that include low-profile capacitors. The PHE840E series from KEMET features a new improved design with a capacitance range of 0.01µF to 10µF, a rated voltage of 300VAC 50/60Hz, and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. The PHE840M series capacitors offer a capacitance range of 0.01µF to 10.0µF, a rated voltage of 275/280VAC, and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. KEMET PHE840E and PHE840M Suppression Film Capacitors are metallized polypropylene capacitors that are used worldwide as electromagnetic interference suppressors in all X2 and across-the-line applications.

EMI/RFI Suppression Capacitors

KEMET EMI/RFI Suppression Capacitors offer a maximum voltage rating of 760VAC and are ideal for capacitive power supplies. The KEMET portfolio of EMI/RFI suppression capacitors includes the following series: F861, F862, F871, F872, F873, F881, P278, P295, PHE844, PHE845, PHZ9004, PME264, PME271E, PME271M, PME271Y, PME295, PZB300, R41, R41-T, R46, R47, R49, and SMP253.
