These KEMET SMD inductors also have high permeability for higher inductance with lower DC resistance (DCR). Other features and benefits include low losses at higher switching frequencies, a molded metal structure that reduces acoustic noise, and higher current, power, and saturation in small packages.

MPCH/MPLCG High Current Metal Composite Inductors

KEMET MPCH and MPLCG High Current Metal Composite Inductors are ideally suited for use in DC-to-DC switching power supplies, servers and storage, computers, automotive ECUs (some models), HDTVs, and much more. These inductors feature a small size, making them ideal for applications with limited space. Some modules utilize a round wire design for higher inductance compared to other wire designs, while others employ a flat wire design that allows for high efficiency under high current loads. KEMET MPCH and MPLCG High Current Metal Composite Inductors are available in a wide range of inductance values, DC resistance, and rated current.
