General Purpose Disc Capacitors

KEMET General Purpose Disc Capacitors are specifically designed for DC and pulse high voltage applications. These capacitors consist of a ceramic disc both sides of which are silver/copper plated; the connection leads are made of tinned copper steel wire with straight, vertical kink, outside kink, and inside kink leads.  These capacitors are available in SL, Y5P, Y5U, and Y5V dielectrics. KEMET CGP General Purpose Disc Capacitors are well-suited for applications that require bypassing, coupling, and decoupling, such as for X-ray sources and pulsed lasers.
