ITT Cannon D-Sub Light Aluminum Backshells feature innovative, lightweight A380 aluminum construction and electroless nickel plating. These backshells meet all harsh environment performance requirements and provide over 50% weight reduction compared to traditional D-sub backshells. This design, combined with a robust portfolio of high-performance I/O solutions, offers a full range of reliable solutions for cabled applications. Additional features include 360° compression shielding, front mounting with #4 to #40 fillister head screws, and optimal EMI shielding performance with minimal air gaps. ITT Cannon D-Sub Light Aluminum Backshells have straight, 45°, and 90° cable exits and are suitable for aerospace electrical and wiring interconnect systems (EWIS).
