Harwin Kona 8.5mm Pitch High-Reliability Power Connectors maximise power in extreme conditions. Capable of achieving 60A of continuous current per contact with a durability of 250 mating cycles and a maximum voltage rating of 3kV. The 6-finger beryllium copper and gold-plated contacts are individually shrouded on both male and female connectors to prevent physical damage and avoid accidental touching. The rugged cable-to-board design maintains electrical continuity under heavy vibration and shock. These connectors feature an innovative mate-before-lock mechanism that prevents any damage during the locking process by ensuring the contacts are fully mated before engaging the fixings. No tools are required because fixing these connectors is simple due to the use of the stainless-steel thumb screws that are fitted to the female connector housing.
