har-flex® HD Card Edge® Connectors

HARTING har-flex® HD Card Edge® Connectors offer fine pitch, card edge design for high-speed transmission. These HD Card Edges can be used for mezzanine applications of ≥20mm. Various PCB hold-down options offer different solutions for space saving or increased robustness with these connectors, which also come with 0.8mm pitch and 20-140 contacts (in increments of 20). The card edge connector offers a smooth path for the signal compared to a two-part connector system in which there can be negative signal impacts due to a second connector. As a result of providing this smooth path, these connectors can provide a high data rate in a small footprint and higher current. The plastic alignment pegs and three choices of hold-down designs mean there are more choices based on application needs and accurate position on PCB. The card edge is used with an adapter card for unlimited board stacking height (≥20mm) with no restrictions due to available mated pair connector heights, giving increased design flexibility. HARTING har-flex HD Card Edge Connectors applications include relays, industrial controls, scanners, PLCs, HMI, routers and servers, data storage, and ultrasound.
