Broadcom Infrared LEDs offer a wide range of wavelengths, including 850nm, 880nm, 890nm, and 940nm. The devices offer a 6°, 20°, 30°, 50° or 60° viewing angle. ChipLEDs are available in standard and high-brightness colors, using AlGaAs, AlInGaP, and InGaN processes in a wide range of colors.

ARE1 High Power Infrared Emitting Diodes

Broadcom ARE1 High Power Infrared Emitting Diodes feature high radiant power and intensity, with typical viewing angles of 90° and 150°. The ARE1 Diodes provide the choice of 850nm or 940nm peak wavelength range. The Infrared Diodes deliver a low-profile package design and ultra-small footprint suitable for a wide variety of applications where space and height are constrained. The device is compatible with the industrial reflow soldering process. The high-power IR LEDs are ideal for infrared illumination and surveillance systems.
