KEKO-Varicon Circuit Protection

Bourns KEKO-Varicon Circuit Protection product offering includes overvoltage protective and EMI suppression components. All KEKO-Varicon products have been fully integrated into the Bourns corporate structure. Bourns KEKO-Varicon Circuit Protection products can be designed for various low voltage board level (LVBL), telecommunication, automotive electronics, AC-line, transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS), medical, and high-energy industrial equipment applications.

SV Special Medium Voltage Varistors

Bourns SV Special Medium Voltage Varistors are lead-style, epoxy-coated square- or rectangular-shaped varistors with a 60VAC to 550VAC operating voltage. Bourns SV Varistors offer extremely high current and energy capabilities (600A to 15kA peak single pulse current and 4J to 815J single pulse surge energy) and a low clamping voltage, providing an increased level of protection for the transients expected in telecommunication and AC power networks. Compared to electrically equivalent disc varistors, SV varistors are produced with smaller nominal dimensions.
