PEC Rotary Encoders

Bourns Pro Audio PEC Rotary Encoders feature a compact design, long life, high reliability, and low cost compared to optical type encoders. Available in a wide variety of configurations. The Bourns Pro Audio PEC Series Rotary Encoders are incremental encoders with a 2-bit gray code output, 3Ω max closed circuit resistance, and a contact rating of 1mA @ 5VDC. Also available is the PES12 series, a 12mm incremental shaftless encoder with detent option.

PEC11L Low Profile Rotary Encoder

Bourns PEC11L Low Profile Rotary Encoders are highly reliable (20,000 cycles minimum), compact, and low profile with metal bushings and a flatted or knurled metal shaft. The PEC11L Series feature Contact Push ON Momentary SPST with a power rating (resistive load) of 10mA at 5VDC. The RoHS compliant Bourns PEC11L Series Low Profile Rotary Encoders offer a push switch option.
