Lithium Ion Battery Formation & Test Solutions

Analog Devices Inc. Lithium Ion Battery Formation and Test Solutions offer a small, environmental-friendly system for testing and forming rechargeable battery cells and packs. The offering uses a PWM controller to provide charging energy. With these solutions from Analog Devices, designers can direct discharging energy to other cells or send the energy back to the grid to minimize energy usage.

AD8221 Precision Instrumentation Amplifier

Analog Devices AD8221 Precision Instrumentation Amplifier is a gain-programmable, high-performance instrumentation amplifier that delivers a high Common-Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR) over frequency. The CMRR of instrumentation amplifiers on the market today falls off at 200Hz. In contrast, the AD8221 maintains a minimum CMRR of 80dB to 10kHz for all grades at G = 1. The high CMRR over frequency allows the AD8221 to reject wideband interference and line harmonics, greatly simplifying filter requirements. Possible applications include precision data acquisition, biomedical analysis, and aerospace instrumentation.

Amplifier ICs

Analog Devices Amplifiers deliver high performance through a combination of expert design, manufacturing processes, and application support, offering products that simplify the signal conditioning design process. The broad portfolio of amplifiers includes operational amplifiers covering a range of precision, speed, and voltage ranges, specialty amplifiers covering special functions and operations like current sensing and optical trans-impedance amplifiers, ADC drivers, and instrumentation amplifiers.
