Positronic D-Sub Backshells and Hoods feature a range of options to fit a variety of D-subminiature connectors and applications. These products are available in aluminum, steel, zinc, plastic, and polyester shell material. Some variants are suitable for use in EMI applications or provide EMI / RFI protection. The product lineup includes backshells, connectors, tools, and hardware. Positronic D-Sub Backshells and Hoods offer top, side, and modular openings with low-profile versions available.

Zinc Die-Cast Backshells

Positronic Zinc Die-Cast Backshells are designed specifically for D-sub connectors and are available in shell sizes 1 through 4. The DT/DS and CT/CS series backshells provide enhanced performance, reliability, and longevity of D-sub connector systems in demanding applications. These backshells have top or side exit options and offer EMI protection, positive locking mechanisms, and strain relief options. Positronic Zinc Die-Cast Backshells are suitable for robust use in harsh environments.
