Backshell Clamps

Amphenol PCD Backshell Clamps help to tidy up the cable after termination and provide strain relief at the termination area. The clamps are offered in environmental and non-environmental options, as well as EMI/RFI. The components are available in black zinc nickel, adding to the existing finishes in olive drab gray cadmium, tin, or nickel with a variety of shell sizes 11 through 48. Amphenol PCD Backshell Clamps meet MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-DTL-26482 Series II, MIL-DTL-83723 Series I and II, MIL-DTL-24308, and MIL-DTL-83513.

Backshells

Amphenol PCD Backshells offer strain relief, environmental protection, and 360° EMI/RFI shielding at the termination area of virtually any circular connector. These connectors feature a base material constructed of aluminum alloy, stainless steel, brass, or composite and a variety of finishes such as black zinc nickel, cadmium, electroless nickel, anodized black, passivated, and more. Amphenol PCD Backshells have custom designs available and meet or exceed RoHS/REACH compliance standards. Available in both military specifications and commercial types for any application, these backshells meet the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) AS85049 standard.
