The unique design features a low thermal mass sense element coupled with adhesive-backed compressible foam. This innovative design ensures rapid response times and exceptional temperature accuracy by exposing the sensing element to the sensing surface. The backside of the sensing element is covered with compressible foam, providing consistent normal force and thermal insulation from ambient influences, thereby enhancing accuracy. The SMF sensors are ideal for battery management, HVAC control, server racks, consumer electronics, and fuel cells.
